Agilisium Tech Consulting is hiring: Sr Business Analyst in Los Angeles

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis and project management, with Music Industry experience and expertise in data analytics, workflows and and visualization tools. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate with stakeholders, translate and document business needs into actionable insights. The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements and supporting the development of data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Utilize data analysis skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making processes.
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing input during all phases of project management.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of data solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and system specifications using tools including but not limited to Visio.
• Support Agile methodologies by participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Media and Entertainment, Digital Distribution, Digital Marketing, eCommerce or similar role with a strong focus on data analytics.
• Hands on experience with Figma, Photoshop and Google Analytics
• Proficiency in SQL, Postman, REST and GQL APIs
• Familiarity with database design principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, or Bash (Unix shell) is a plus.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
