The Boeing Global Services Customer Relations team is seeking an

Experienced or Senior Customer Relations and Event Specialist

who will have responsibility for executing logistics related to customer visits, conferences, special events and executive support. This role will oversee details associated with coordinating customer events and business/social arrangements while maintaining focus on the design and cost associated with the Boeing brand in the market. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as the ability to make decisions consisting of the following responsibilities is required. This role can be in

Seattle WA or Plano TX.

Position Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate multiple complex customer visits/events/product launches utilizing extensive knowledge of U.S. and foreign government regulations, international cultures and customs, company policies and procedures based on strategic business objectives.

Manage event planning meetings and communications with business development/marketing/sales. Anticipate requirements and make recommendations (e.g., date, geographic location, venue, participants/products and budget).

Organize and manage a multi-disciplined team of colleagues (e.g., facilities, marketing/communications, graphics, security and transportation, etc.) to implement the plan.

Continuously collect, integrate and proactively disseminate information to all stakeholders to ensure adherence to the plan. Increased exposure to and support of senior executives to include briefings and communicating the plans.

Based on customer requirements (e.g., budget, group size, format, site accessibility, aesthetics and A/V requirements, etc.), research and evaluate potential venues (including site inspections) and make recommendations of preferred venue or site to customer.

Strengthens internal and external customer and supplier network.

Implements logistics for complex and/or highly visible visits/events in accordance with company policies and procedures, branding compliance, business courtesies, protocol and U.S. and foreign government guidelines.

Applies extensive knowledge of customers' customs and cultures in all aspects of the visit/event, provides sound advice and recommendations and takes action.

Manages and administers the plan and all logistical aspects of the visit/event. Provides on-site management of resources for visit/event. Facilitates process improvements based on in-depth analysis of feedback.

Provides guidance to the work group on process improvement matters.

Event registration website data management and event data tracking.

Provides logistics support for cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide events.

Manage transportation for events

Manage food and beverage for events

Coordinate restaurant reservations

Schedule Boeing facility tours

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in event management and executive support

Ability to work efficiently in a highly matrixed organization

Strong organizational, time management and communication skills

Ability to liaise in a professional manner with all internal and external business partners

Budget management to ensure cost and requirements are met

Experience in event design in order to produce aesthetic products that display originality and creativity that meet brand requirements

Experience with event planning and registration software platforms

Knowledge of negotiation and contracting processes

Flexibility for domestic and international travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

7+ years of experience in event management and executive support

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Level 4: $106,250.00-$143,750.00

Level 5: $127,500.00-$172,500.00
