Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant at One Day In July, you will be responsible for helping the firm meet its administrative duties to support the firm, including in our client area and our compliance department.

You do not need prior financial industry experience, though you should demonstrate why you are exceptional in your application. We will provide on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the firm overall, including front desk reception and fielding calls from prospective and existing clients.
  • Coordinate with clients to complete various paperwork and other tasks.
  • Prepare for client meetings, including making sure all necessary paperwork is printed and ready.
  • Update client records and organize communications.
  • Identify anomalies or errors and take corrective action as needed.
  • Prioritize and track items that need to be accomplished while managing deadlines.
  • Coordinate communications and workflows with Advisors and others in the firm.
  • Organize a large volume of paperwork and digital files.

  • Be able to travel to other One Day In July offices within 60 miles of the Montpelier office.

  • This job is full time and based in Montpelier, VT with required travel to other offices within 60 miles.
  • Training in the Burlington, VT office is required at the start of this role.

  • Salary: $50,000+ commensurate with experience.
