CDL Driver - Vacuum Truck at Select Water Solutions. This is a full-time role with travel required. Reports to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight.
• Load and secure cargo properly; monitor weight of shipments.
• Perform vehicle maintenance, security, and keep the vehicle clean.
• Ensure truck has proper and current inspections.
• Comply with all D.O.T. requirements and maintain driver qualification and driving records.
• Keep paperwork in correct order and document all transactions.
• Deliver on time while maintaining safe driving; load and unload as required.
• Coordinate with Procurement for deliveries and pickups.
• Represent the company professionally while in uniform.
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies; perform duties efficiently and safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the physical constraints of the job.
• Operate tractor-trailer and all related equipment competently.

Qualifications

• CDL A license; 1 year of CDL A driving experience preferred.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and DOT requirements; current DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret driving routes, safety rules, tickets, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical; may require night or weekend shifts.
• Detail-oriented with strong safety focus; excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
• CDL certification from an accredited driving school and one year of driving experience; experience may be substituted.

Compensation and Working Conditions

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Work is performed in outside weather conditions; exposure to noise and physical demands as described in the job details.
