Overview
Receptionist 1 role at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. The receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments. The Receptionist 1 operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. Takes and distributes accurate messages. Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization\'s location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.
Base pay range
$38,000.00/yr - $45,800.00/yr
Responsibilities

- Alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to the appropriate office, department or employee.
- Responds to routine inquiries about location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and email addresses.
- Performs additional administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, and handling courier packages.
- Works on routine and patterned assignments; makes decisions within defined parameters and under supervision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year or more of experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but candidates with strong customer service in retail/hospitality/call centers will be considered
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving patient experiences and care
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Preferred Qualifications
- Value-based care model experience
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Additional Information
This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company\'s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$38,000 - $45,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
