Staffworks Group is looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings. You should be familiar with electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices in the trade. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial buildings
• Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate devices and panels
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics
• Test electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and safety compliance
• Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on-site
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC)
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a commercial electrician
• Valid electrician license or journeyman certification (if required by state / local regulations)
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and wiring diagrams
• Proficient with hand and power tools, conduit benders, testers, and other job-specific equipment
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• OSHA 10 / 30 certification (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in occupied commercial environments
• Ability to lead small crews or apprentices
• Low-voltage system knowledge (fire alarm, data, etc.) is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
