Employment type: Full-time

Reports to: Manager of Human Resources

Responsibilities

  • Manage leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other state/federal leave requirements, ensuring compliance and effective communication with employees and managers
  • Oversee unemployment claims management, including documentation and response preparation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting thorough and objective investigations into complaints, gathering evidence, interviewing relevant parties, documenting findings, and providing guidance on corrective actions
  • Facilitate discussions and mediate conflicts between employees, aiming to find mutually agreeable resolutions
  • Assist with HR reporting and analytics to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions
  • Provide training to employees and managers on complaint procedures, conflict resolution, and promoting a respectful work environment
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements by streamlining HR processes иnd enhancing overall efficiency across functions
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of employee relations experience preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time-management skills
  • Sense of urgency and the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication skills in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required

Compensation

Base pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Potential bonus: up to 20% of salary
