Evans & Dixon is excited to welcome a Human Resources Manager to our expanding office in Overland Park, Kansas. In this dynamic role, you will take charge of key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, 401(k), short-term disability, FMLA, and ADA administration. You will also work closely with the HR Director, supporting a wide range of strategic and operational HR initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Support the HR team with a wide range of strategic and operational HR initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to Managing Partners and department heads on HR policies, performance coaching, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving workplace concerns in a fair and consistent manner.
- Assist with managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, post openings, source candidates, conduct interviews, and partner with leadership with hiring decisions.
- Support training, development, and engagement initiatives designed to enhance retention and career growth.
- Administer employee benefits, payroll processes, and leave programs (including FMLA, ADA, and workers\' compensation).
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HRIS and personnel files with accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity.
- Travel as needed to firm office locations throughout the Midwest.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge using Microsoft Suite, as well as various HRIS systems.
- Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to be self-sufficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a collaborative and cooperative team player.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent in human resources, business administration, or related fields
- HRCI or SHRM designations preferred.
