Position Title: Barista - Bear Mountain

Pay Range: $19.00 to $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve ice cream, hot and cold beverages, including various types of Starbucks coffee and tea. Responsibilities include educating guests on our drinks menu, making recommendations, up-selling, and taking orders. You should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates and troubleshoot equipment when necessary.

Starting pay: $19/hour

Essential duties and responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list; other duties may be assigned by leadership):

• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
• Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations with knowledge of the venue’s menu
• Pay close attention to recipe details (e.g., guest preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Keep venue clean and organized per company standards
• Understand pricing at the venue
• Assist in regular inventory counts at the venue
• Restock and replenish venue inventory and supplies as needed
• Cash handling and balancing
