Overview

Position Title: Barista - Snow Valley

Pay Range: $19.00

Levy Sector is hiring a Barista to prepare and serve ice cream, hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. This is a seasonal position with weekend and holiday requirements, starting at $19/hour.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Barista to educate guests on our drinks menu, make recommendations based on their preferences, up-sell items, and take orders. The ideal candidate has customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment when necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and prepared foods, such as cookies, pastries, and muffins
• Assess customer needs and preferences and make menu recommendations
• Pay close attention to recipe details (e.g., guest coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Maintain venue cleanliness and organization per company standards
• Understand pricing at the venue
• Assist with regular inventory counts
• Restock and replenish venue inventory and supplies as needed
• Cash handling / balancing

Qualifications and Requirements

Required: customer service skills; knowledge of brewing equipment and ability to troubleshoot. Seasonal role with weekends and holidays work expectations.
