The Business Analyst, a key Product Management Team member, works collaboratively with cross-functional team members to support project management, software development and implementation, and automation of business processes for dynaConnections customers. You will gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements, maintain records of changes, inform stakeholders of changes, and serve as a conduit for delivering quality results. You will coordinate and facilitate requirements meetings and product demonstrations and regularly update project artifacts. You will establish and maintain an effective and collaborative relationship with leadership, team members, customers, end users, and others as needed. Additional responsibilities include assistance with quality control and software testing.

Position Details

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Interpret and document technical requirements with strong analytical thinking.
  • Identify problems and outline solutions or alternatives.
  • Evaluate business processes, gather requirements, and design solutions.
  • Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to identify business needs.
  • Validate requirements against business needs and communicate clearly to audiences.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the development team.
  • Provide visual collaboration and diagramming during sessions.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX Designers on system designs.
  • Draft statistical reports to inform decision-making.
  • Participate in Scrum processes (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and provide insights for improvement.
  • Work with QA to validate that solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
  • Support functional testing to ensure designs are met.
  • Stay current with industry trends, especially in MLS real estate, and apply relevant knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to iterate roadmaps, design plans, and standardize processes.
  • Management may assign other related responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years as a Business Analyst or related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
  • 2+ years of experience with complex, matrixed applications.
  • 2+ years of experience with technical writing or documenting functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and familiarity with SharePoint, Slack, JIRA, Confluence, and related tools.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies.
  • Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and staff remotely; calm, empathetic, and patient in client interactions.
  • High technical competency and a strong aptitude to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail with an eye toward the bigger picture and strategic implications.
  • Creative, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to staying current with the company’s products and issues.
