Overview

TreCom Systems Group, Inc. is seeking detail-oriented and strategic Business Analysts to join our expanding IT service organization. These full-time positions will be hybrid with onsite work in the greater Richmond, VA area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with business analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart).
• CBAP strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
• Identify areas for improvement in business processes and propose innovative solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Develop use cases, workflows, and user stories to support requirements.
• Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training/support as needed.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Create clear and concise reports and presentations for management.
