Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic CT exams and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The CT Technologist will be responsible for verifying patient identity, reviewing medical records, and explaining procedures to patients.
- They will also set up equipment, acquire images, and review them to ensure they meet established protocols.
- In addition, the CT Technologist will provide post-care instructions to patients and participate in process improvement activities within the radiology practice.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT).
Additionally, they must have one or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will possess analytical and clinical skills necessary to determine the most appropriate method of providing requested radiographs.
They will also require interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with patients and colleagues.
Technical knowledge of equipment operation, including computers, is also essential.
