Director of Sales Compensation:
$150,000–$180,000 base + bonus + benefits Location:
Dallas (Remote) + 40% travel to clients (must be near a major airport) Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development across key verticals including data centers, healthcare, and education. Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including setting clear goals, metrics, and market approaches. Manage, coach, and grow the internal sales team, setting performance targets and conducting regular reviews. Oversee ~20 independent rep firms nationwide, ensuring alignment with company standards and strategy. Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, building owners, and other key stakeholders. Partner with marketing to develop and execute targeted campaigns. Track competitive activity and market trends to adapt strategies in real time. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Qualifications
7+ years of sales experience, ideally in construction materials or building systems. Proven success in leadership roles with a strong hunter mindset. Experience launching new products and developing go-to-market strategies. Existing relationships with architects, specifiers, and construction industry influencers. Background in data center markets is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, or related field. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. CRM proficiency and ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Willingness to travel up to 40%.
