The Senior Programmatic Manager – Product & AI will pilot a new product function, bridging media buying expertise with product management to drive innovation in areas such as AI-driven bidding and automation. The role requires forecasting media spend and performance for executive leadership, translating technical concepts into business value, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders. This position must be located in Bellevue, WA, New York, NY or Herndon, VA and is not remote; it is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days in the office per week.
Responsibilities
Own the in-house programmatic media product roadmap and platform strategy , leading innovation to advance T-Mobile’s digital advertising capabilities.
Integrate AI-driven programmatic solutions
across key demand-side platforms to optimize targeting, bidding, and campaign performance.
Lead data-driven forecasting and scenario planning
for programmatic investments, providing insights and predictive models to executives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
(analytics, finance, engineering, campaign buying) to align programmatic strategies with business goals and ensure cohesive execution.
Drive programmatic inventory strategy and execution , enforcing a controlled, quality-focused buying approach including: 100% use of Deal ID transactions for all programmatic deals
100% adherence to approved inclusion lists for inventory sources
100% of spend implemented via marketplace (PMP) deals
Handle direct publisher relationships
to secure premium inventory and support the media buying team’s needs as the primary liaison to key programmatic supply partners.
Develop a shared SSP partnership strategy
with T-Mobile’s Advertising Solutions (T-Ads) to align buy-side needs with sell-side opportunities.
Develop resourcing plans
for new programmatic features or tools, supporting technology investments and stakeholder buy-in.
Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations
on programmatic strategy, performance metrics, and innovation initiatives, driving alignment with senior leadership.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data analytics, or related field; MBA preferred
7+ years of experience in digital marketing or advertising with a focus on programmatic media strategy, platform management, and innovation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Deep expertise in programmatic advertising platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP) and a solid understanding of the programmatic ecosystem including deal structures and supply-side platforms
Experience integrating new technologies into advertising or media strategies
Strong analytical skills with data-driven forecasting and ROI analysis; ability to interpret complex datasets and present actionable insights to executives
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of influencing across teams
Ability to translate concepts into product/technology initiatives and drive them from concept to implementation as a high-impact individual contributor
Compensation and Benefits Base Pay Range: $97,800 - $176,400
