Overview
A New York–based real estate/investment firm is seeking a hands-on, execution-driven
COO
to lead operations for its growing real estate platform. This newly created role will work closely with the CEO and private equity partners to scale operations, integrate new assets, and build infrastructure to support rapid growth across properties. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and experienced in scaling real estate operations—especially in private equity–backed or fast-growth environments. Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations: property management, leasing, facilities, and development projects. Build scalable systems, teams, and processes to support portfolio growth. Lead integration of acquisitions and drive operational improvements across assets. Manage budgets, KPIs, and performance reporting. Ensure compliance with NYC regulations and industry standards. Qualifications
Minimum 10 years in operations leadership 5+ years in a senior role (COO, SVP, GM, etc.). Strong background in real estate operations—preferably in warehousing/industrial. Proven success scaling teams and systems in high-growth or investment-backed businesses. Strong financial, analytical, and team-building skills.
