Trinity Capital Inc., a leading provider of diversified financial solutions to growth stage companies and internally managed BDC, is looking for a strategic and results-driven leader to join its world-class team as the Vice President of Operations in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a high-impact position at a publicly traded company where you’ll play a key role in scaling operations from the ground up. Job Description As the Vice President of Operations, you will work closely with Trinity’s Executive Team, Vertical Market Leaders, and Functional leaders to align operational capabilities with business objectives. You will work to develop a metrics-driven approach to managing Trinity’s existing businesses, while taking part in the planning and execution of new business initiatives, inorganic growth opportunities, and capital formation. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with IT, Executive Staff, and Vertical Market Leaders to establish and monitor KPIs and OKRs to measure performance and ensure continuous improvement. Work closely with Vertical Market Leaders in the creation of their Annual Operating Plans. Drive collaboration across Vertical Market Leaders, Finance, Human Resources, and Legal to facilitate a consistent and thorough approach. Develop project plans and lead cross-functional teams through planning, execution, and completion phases. Develop and manage project budgets ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while meeting goals. Identify inefficiencies in operational processes including cross-functional projects and initiate projects to optimize, reduce cost and enhance service. Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee the design and implementation of training programs for team members to enhance skills and drive continuous improvements. With the Executive Team, define the detailed operational plans for the formation, capitalization, and staffing of new business verticals. Assist the Executive Team as needed with down-selection and diligence of potential acquisition targets; lead efforts to integrate newly acquired businesses into existing operational framework. May participate in meetings with external stakeholders and is expected to represent Trinity Capital Inc. in a professional and “world-class” manner. Characteristics

Ability to drive projects forward and adopt new processes and projects. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, international business, or related discipline. 20+ years of professional experience, demonstrating career growth and a track record of success. 10+ years of experience in operational leadership roles, preferably within financial services, banking, or private equity. Training or certifications in project management disciplines is a plus. Proven experience in scaling high-growth operations. Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing geographically dispersed professional teams. Physical Requirements
