Data and Reports Analyst - Excel (advanced level/power user) Mandatory: Must have a very strong Excel skillset and experience related to data and reporting. NO SPONSORSHIPS, NO STAFFING AGENCIES. ONSITE AT OUR ORANGE COUNTY (CALIFORNIA) CLIENT LOCATION WITH FUTURE POSSIBILITY OF HYBRID REMOTE. The Excel Data and Reports Analyst will support a Sr. Manager of our Interactive Marketing team onsite in Fountain Valley, California. They will help with the marketing website initiatives, SAP data entry. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to apply their analytical skills to turn data into actionable insights. You will thrive in a team-oriented environment as you work hand-in-hand with National Sales, Regional Offices, Product Management, Client Management and IT. This person must be a strong communicator, have positive energy, be detail-oriented, be very resourceful, be self-sufficient (no babysitting), be a quick learner, and must love following processes and creating processes if necessary. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment. This position requires a data-driven mind and a strong understanding of data and reporting-related skills using Excel (advanced level/power user is ideal). Responsibilities
Establish & maintain processes to collect, understand, cleanse and automate analysis of supply chain data; efficiently derive business insight. Establish & maintain methods that enable data visualization to derive business insights that tell the story. Use strong statistical knowledge to create trend identification & make predictions about supply chain-related elements; identify elements within the data that aren't obvious. Develop and implement data models that significantly impact areas such as supply chain optimization, inventory optimization, manufacturing & distribution optimization, business strategy, and more. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or related discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics). Experience with large data sets and advanced MS Excel skills (mandatory). Education/Experience with advanced analytical techniques (machine learning, optimization, pattern recognition, cluster analysis, segmentation analysis, probability and statistics, time-series analysis, predictive modeling, etc.). Experience with data analysis tools/languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus. Attention to detail and strong technical intuition. Ability to translate business needs into advanced analytics solutions. Strong communication skills (technical and business audiences). Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment and manage time to meet deadlines. Experience in data entry (SAP is preferable) and analytics; cross-functional experience across multiple areas. Digital marketing/website project experience is a plus; automotive background is a plus. Mandatory software/technical expertise: Excel (Power-User), MS Visio, Project, SharePoint; proficient JIRA. Soft Skills
