Overview The Territory Manager – Chain Division is responsible for all assigned stores. Duties include selling and building displays of CWOC Wine, Spirit and Beer products and maintaining distribution of current products in accounts.
Responsibilities
Build product displays, update pricing, and implement special offers within your assigned territory
Ensure all company products are properly displayed, expand cold box and dry shelf placements, and assure products are priced correctly and placed in optimal locations
Call on all assigned accounts, nurturing positive relationships with retail customers, key department buyers, and store management
Provide support to accounts by addressing their needs and resolving issues related to our products and service
Proactively present promotional activities and suggestions to customers as instructed by the company
Survey accounts for merchandising opportunities and always have current sales support sheets available to enhance Classic’s representation in the store
Proactively stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as necessary, maintaining proper stock levels and avoiding out-of-stock conditions; this includes servicing DSD (Direct Store Delivery) accounts weekly with shelf product and display orders
Effectively install and maintain current point-of-sale (POS) materials, such as back cards, shelf talkers, and price signs, to enhance product visibility and promote sales
Provide schedules and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time to your Supervisor
Return phone calls, text messages, and emails in a timely manner, and promptly advise your Supervisor of any issues in your territory, including out-of-stocks, price changes, or account information
Be available to work at various times for merchandising projects, wine tastings, company events, and store resets, adjusting your schedule to accommodate day or night-time hours as needed
Travel to accounts with a dependable vehicle and maintain auto insurance to company requirements
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications Education/Experience:
High School Diploma
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideal candidate will be inquisitive about the Wine & Spirits industry to build a foundation for career advancement at the company
Interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders at our company and our customers
Familiar with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and cell phone applications
Live within or close to area of territory
Ability to:
Ability to work independently and attain goals
Ability to use technology
Physical Requirements
Sit for an extended period of time, and travel to accounts and team meetings
Lift up to 50 pounds
Perform data entry tasks using standard computer equipment and cell phone
Use hands to grasp, feel, move, reach or assemble
Work Environment
Safety cutter when cutting cardboard boxes and POS
Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facility
