Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Medical Science Liaison, Immunology (Dermatology) to be based in the Mid-Atlantic territory which includes North Carolina and Central/Southern Virginia (Raleigh/Durham, Virginia Beach and Richmond). The MSL is a field-based clinical role focused on delivering scientific information and education to healthcare professionals and internal partners, with travel expected to approximately 70% of the time. Responsibilities

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for providing fair, balanced, objective, scientific information and education to opinion leaders (OLs), healthcare professionals, and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs. The MSL serves as a scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products within the Therapeutic Area (TA) alignment. The MSL stays abreast of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in their therapeutic areas of interest and provides research support for company and investigator-initiated research. The MSL builds external relationships with identified OLs and healthcare providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., biocoordinators) and develops and manages a geographical territory. Engagements may be virtual or in-person, with a prioritization of in-person engagements when appropriate. The MSL develops and maintains a territory strategic plan, including educational activities with OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices. The MSL rapidly identifies and compliantly collaborates with field-based partners to support Healthcare Providers and positively impact patient care. The MSL continually enhances skills and agility with competencies in Change Management, Time Management, and Innovation. All activities are conducted in accordance with current regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines. This is a field-based clinical position requiring travel primarily throughout the assigned geography, with limited travel outside of the geography. Travel for this role is estimated at 70%. Qualifications

PharmD, PhD, MD, or other advanced medical degree, NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician Assistant)) with 2+ years relevant TA clinical experience Ability to support travel up to 70% which includes overnight travel, including some weekend commitments Ability to drive and fly to various meetings/congresses/headquarters A valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record Reside within the defined assigned territory or eligible for relocation Preferred: Minimum 2 years relevant work experience including clinical, research, fellowship, or pharmaceutical work experience with presentation skills Knowledge or experience in the relevant TA and/or Immunology work experience Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of computers and remote technologies Reside in the designated territory Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base salary for this position is $115,000 to $197,800. This position is eligible for a company car through the Fleet program and for an annual performance-based bonus. Employees may participate in company-sponsored benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance) and a consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
