Position:

Adjunct Faculty are scholars and professionals who teach in their area(s) of specialization and expertise. The primary affiliation of adjunct faculty is not with the university. Starting Salary:

$36 hourly. Location:

Standard office hours; occasional evenings or weekends may be required depending upon course schedule. Travel:

None. Duties & Responsibilities

Facilitating Classroom and Distance/Distributed Learning. Course and syllabus preparation. Class curriculum coordination and planning. Assessment and evaluation of learners. Mentoring and advising students. Holding office hours and meeting with students. Research/scholarship mentoring and supervision. Courses and Subjects

(Jan 13, 2024 – May 2, 2025) PSY75010 - Theory and Practice of Psychotherapy Individual (CBT) (3 units) Cognitive Affective Bases of Behavior (3 units) Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Education:

Doctoral or terminal degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience:

Appropriate experience in the areas of specialization and expertise. Certifications/Licenses:

Clinical Psychology license required for clinical courses. Skills

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem solving. Ability to explain complex requirements clearly. Flexibility with workflow to meet department and student needs and manage multiple tasks to deadlines. Ability to direct and mentor candidates toward task completion and work effectively in a team with students and staff. Culturally humble with ability to interact with diverse people. Motivated, focused, results-oriented. Discretion, tact, and confidentiality in interpersonal interactions. Collaboration with university stakeholders to support candidate success.
