Training Specialist/Instructional Designer

Consult with subject matter experts to identify, plan, design, create, and deliver effective and innovative learning and communication solutions, enablement, support, and services. Engage as a member of the Operations Quality Learning & Design (OQL&D) staff team; participate in staff meetings and events; provide administrative support to team members as needed. Manage learning and communication projects including SME and BPO consulting and guidance; conduct needs analysis; perform technical creation using development tools; handle logistics and coordination of learning deliverables and events to be on-time and engaging. Coordinate with Learning Partners, business process owners, and SMEs to ensure alignment of learning content with audience needs and organizational goals. Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or combination of related certifications and experience in instructional technology, graphic design, education, A/V media production, experience design, IT, communications, or marketing design. Several years of instructional design and development experience (preferably in a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals). Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to build relationships across networks and cross-functional teams. Experience working in global teams. Strong planning, organization, strategic thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to providing the highest level of service; openness to inclusive development practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks; know when to seek supervisory assistance. Preferred Experience/Skills
Articulate Storyline, Audacity, Camtasia, Illustration, JavaScript, Smartsheet, Technical Writing, and Vyond. Knowledge of adult learning, engagement, assessment methods, blended learning, experiential learning, and other instructional design approaches. Curiosity, willingness to experiment with new ways of working. Tools & Modalities
Fluency with learning development tools and modalities including multi-track video and audio editing, graphic design and image editing, document/packaging formats and conversions, AI-assisted development tools (graphics, text-to-speech, text-to-video), and PowerPoint. Benefits
