Overview The Florida Department of Revenue seeks a Senior Revenue Consultant in the General Tax Administration Program, Audit Process. The incumbent assists the audit process in completing quality audits, trains new and current employees in tax law, audit procedures, audit software, audit programs, and management techniques. The role also develops, maintains, and delivers training for positions within the audit process, and assists audit management with projects as needed. Additional duties include conducting training in person and virtually, creating and updating audit training content, reviewing audits for quality control, assisting with audits, providing feedback for development of audit procedures; coordinating training, coordinating special projects, and assisting with hiring and management meetings.

Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. Five years of experience performing sales and use tax compliance audits within the General Tax Administration Program's Audit Process. Four years of experience training experience in the General Tax Administration Program's Audit Process. One year of reviewing audit files. Preferences

This position requires use of your personal vehicle to conduct work assignments. This position may require travel which may include multiple overnight stays. All candidates who meet the minimum job requirements will be interviewed. Salary and Benefits The hiring salary for this position is generally not to exceed $5,698.42 monthly ($68,381.04 annually). If the applicant has an existing CAD, the CAD will be added to the salary amount.
