Position
Join CHEP North America as Director of Pricing & Profitability Management. Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for pricing and revenue optimization? CHEP North America is hiring a Director of Pricing and Profitability Management to lead transformative pricing strategies that drive sustainable, profitable growth. In this high-impact role, you’ll:
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute pricing strategies using econometrics, value-based pricing, and revenue management principles
Enhance value capture and margin performance across CHEP NA and Pallecon
Partner with commercial teams to deliver on our four-year pricing goals
Lead the design and execution of pricing and revenue management strategies to maximize profitable revenue
Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies, define customer value propositions, assess willingness to pay (WTP), and set optimal pricing targets
Use modeling, analytics, and econometrics to inform pricing decisions for products and services
Partner closely with senior leaders across Business Units and collaborate with key functions including Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Strategy, and Marketing
Embed competitive insights into the North America pricing strategy and ensure alignment with broader business objectives
Serve as a strategic advisor on pricing, using it as a lever to support the organization’s overall goals and initiatives
Qualifications
Proven experience in pricing, revenue management, or commercial finance leadership roles
Strong analytical background with expertise in econometrics, pricing models, and value-based pricing
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Strategic mindset with a track record of delivering measurable business impact through pricing initiatives
Key Measures
Develop and implement a comprehensive pricing strategy that delivers cumulative pricing impact as part of CHEP’s multi-year transformation plan
Drive continuous improvement in Profit in alignment with CHEP’s long-term financial goals
Achieve revenue and profit contribution targets in collaboration with commercial and cross-functional teams
Optimize customer retention and volume growth through elasticity modeling and segmentation strategies
Establish standardized pricing strategies and models for both existing and new products and services
Provide regular updates to executive leadership on pricing and profitability initiatives, supported by analytics and actionable recommendations to ensure revenue and margin objectives are met
Lead pricing initiatives that promote consistent margin optimization and deploy scalable pricing tools/programs across the organization
Integrate competitive intelligence and apply game theory and scenario planning to proactively identify risks and opportunities and define strategic action plans
Location and Reporting Direct & Indirect Reports: 4 Location: Alpharetta, GA – Hybrid in office
