Established in 2020 to deliver specialized management services for student housing, B.HOM manages 30,000+ beds at 34 schools across the United States. Overview As the General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the overall operations and profit and loss of the assigned property, including staffing, administration of day-to-day business functions; accounting, marketing and leasing, maintenance, capital improvements, resident services, and related projects as required. You will drive productivity through reliable attendance and a strong service mindset, represent the company professionally, and contribute to a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities
Hire, train, supervise, mentor and coach all property team members; develop team members; manage scheduling and address performance and attendance challenges; ensure all operational standards and procedures are implemented and maintained Collaborate with the management team to sustain leasing and marketing activities and programs; maintain sales and service standards; participate in sales calls, tours and presentations as needed Provide guidance on student behavioral issues; mediate roommate conflicts, respond to resident complaints; implement and maintain the resident handbook; address lease violations through company processes Physically inspect units, common areas and community spaces to ensure property standards; track maintenance requests and ensure timely completion; coordinate turnovers for move-ins Manage budgeting for marketing and leasing; control costs across departments to maximize NOI; monitor resident accounts for accuracy and timeliness of charges and collections; recommend corrective actions on internal controls Develop relationships with campus departments and organizations; oversee outreach marketing efforts; manage Resident Life programs and related budgets; supervise Community Ambassador events Perform other duties as assigned You Have
Where required by law, possess or obtain the state leasing license within the mandated timeframe Understanding of campus departments and on-campus housing Proficient in MS Office and able to use social media and other computer applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to plan and organize multiple tasks Demonstrated leadership skills Previous work experience in student/on-campus housing Knowledge of Entrata is a plus Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Skills: same as above (license where required, campus housing understanding, MS Office proficiency, communication, organization, leadership, on-campus housing experience) Desired Qualifications/Skills: Knowledge of Entrata Salary : 80,000 – 90,000 General Information
