Job Summary
The Title Officer & Settlement position is essential in facilitating smooth and efficient real estate transactions. This role involves working closely with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure that all title and settlement processes are executed accurately and in compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the mortgage industry, including FNMA guidelines, underwriting processes, and fair housing regulations. Duties
Manage the title and settlement process from initiation to completion, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant. Clear Title, Recordings, Escrows Collaborate with loan officers and attorneys to facilitate loan origination and ensure timely processing of applications. Review contracts and escrow agreements to confirm all terms are met prior to closing. Maintain Compliance with Title Underwriters. Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to closing costs and disbursements. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to loan documentation and client records. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates throughout the settlement process. Requirements
Trackerpro Software knowledge. Previous experience as a Title Officer. Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, underwriting practices, fair housing regulations, and escrow processes is highly desirable. Proficient in basic math calculations necessary for financial transactions. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to learn new States.
