Overview
RFHD Initiative, Web, Content Creation, & Brand Management Specialist The Religious Freedom & Human Dignity Initiative’s Web, Content Creation, & Brand Management Specialist will assist in the design, creation, and modification of websites, content, reports, branding, managing a team, and other relative tasks. Analyze user needs to implement website content, graphics, performance, and capacity. May convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web format by using software designed to facilitate the creation of web and multimedia content. Primary Responsibilities
Attend all mandatory student employee trainings and orientations (university and department level) Submit weekly email updates and reports to your assigned Supervisor Follow all RFHD Initiative, University, Department and Human Resources policies Update and maintain the organizations website with current and relevant content Ensure that the website reflects the organization's missions, values and current activities Regularly check for and fix any broken links or outdated information by running accessibility reports Generate engaging and informative content for the website, social media platforms and others Create content that effectively communicates the organizations message and goals Ensure consistency in branding across all online platforms and materials Uphold the organizations brand guidelines in all content creation and dissemination Work to enhance and strengthen the organizations brand image Assist in the creation of various reports (annual reports, conference reports, etc.) Format reports in a professional and visually appealing manner while collaborating with team members to gather necessary information Curate and share content from reportable sources that align with the organization's mission Work closely with supervisor and team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders both internally and externally Attend meetings and provide updates on web, content and brand management activities Monitor website analytics and performance Prepare for conferences by completing required tasks and paperwork (e.g. resume, cover letter, background research, summaries, or presentations) Complete the assigned RFHD Initiative Canvas course and other online trainings and certifications Complete assigned readings, videos, and other foundational materials Assist in planning and executing retreats, forums, meetings, conferences, and RFHD activities Help obtain materials for events (e.g. folders, nametags, signage, supplies, etc.) Provide logistical support before, during, and after all RFHD events Assist in gathering and updating the RFHD Initiative database Lead Media Team during the April conference in preparation, during and post-conference Collaborate with BYU Law or ICLRS for media projects Must be available to assist with the annual RFHD conference held each April, which takes place between Winter and Spring semesters Commit to a minimum of one-year of service Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by faculty or the RFHD supervisor Education
Upper-Division Courses preferred Work Experience
At least 6 months of relevant work, volunteer, academic, or service experience (flexible based on demonstrated interest and initiative) Physical Demands
Typical office work environment Compensation
Base Rate Per Hour: 14.50 Additional Information
Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks Seniority level
