This role is responsible for leading and driving strategic and tactical marketing initiatives within the Fracture Care business, including upstream (market insights, product strategy, portfolio management) and downstream (go-to-market execution, demand generation, sales enablement) activities. The Senior Manager, Marketing will directly manage a Marketing Manager and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure success across product lifecycles, from concept through commercialization and post-market growth. What you will do: Responsibilities
Lead and support upstream marketing activities, including market research, voice-of-customer activities, competitive analysis, and early-stage product strategy development. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&R, clinical, regulatory and commercial teams to shape product concepts and ensure alignment with market needs. Develop and drive downstream marketing execution, including go-to-market planning, product launches, sales enablement and promotional strategy. Develop and execute a high impact annual marketing plan with budget while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, Operations, Market Access, Medical Education) to align marketing strategies with business objectives. Develop a compelling value proposition for our portfolio and translate those into tangible tools and support materials for our sales, training and corporate accounts teams to create value and drive market demand and awareness. Own the collateral development process from start to finish, liaising with Creative Services, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, and Medical & Clinical Affairs teams and working through internal approval processes. Manage relationships and day-to-day operations with external partners, including new service implementations, field rollout, budget forecasting, and execution. Engage and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, including key opinion leaders, at trade shows and events while representing Fracture Care Division. Manage the tradeshow calendar and budget, working closely with the Commercial Engagement team and Sales Leadership. Partner with the digital marketing team to lead Digital Marketing efforts for the Exogen business, including email campaigns, CRM platform, Digital Lead Generation, Sales App, Landing Pages for special events among others. Attract, develop and retain talent. Ensure focus and alignment with functional and company goals. Provide employees with continuous feedback and coaching using talent and performance management tools while conducting full performance management cycle. Hold oneself and others accountable to conduct business compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of progressive marketing experience in the medical device industry and use of digital marketing platforms. Proven experience in both upstream and downstream marketing within regulated healthcare markets. Demonstrated success managing direct reports and leading cross-functional initiatives. Strong business acumen with the ability to develop strategic plans and execute with precision. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Strong understanding and proven ability to use advanced marketing analytics and business intelligence. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills – persuasive, engaging, and clinically credible when presenting and working with internal and external customers. About Bioventus
