We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level technical solutions that align with federal government requirements and organizational strategy. The Enterprise Architect will provide thought leadership across cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application domains, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with federal standards. This individual will work closely with senior government stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to translate mission objectives into robust enterprise architectures. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and technical standards aligned with federal mandates (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, DoD standards, etc.). Serve as the primary technical advisor to government clients, ensuring architectures support mission goals and long-term modernization strategies. Assess current-state architectures and define future-state solutions across cloud, cybersecurity, data, and enterprise applications. Lead design sessions and architecture reviews with engineering teams, program managers, and government stakeholders. Ensure interoperability, scalability, and security of enterprise systems. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption to improve efficiency and mission support. Support proposal development by crafting technical solutions, architectures, and compliance responses. Mentor solution architects and technical leads to ensure consistent implementation of enterprise standards. Translate business and mission requirements into actionable technical designs and implementation plans. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in enterprise architecture or solution architecture roles. Deep knowledge of enterprise frameworks (TOGAF, DoDAF, Zachman, FEAF). Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications. Familiarity with federal IT standards, compliance requirements, and security frameworks (NIST RMF, FedRAMP, Zero Trust, etc.). Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience briefing senior government leadership. Relevant certifications preferred (TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, CISSP, CISM). Ability to obtain and maintain a [Secret/Top Secret] security clearance.
