This position is the Senior Special Systems Project Manager who handles daily operations of special projects and manages a high-performing team. They provide internal and external coordination with project partners and stakeholders, establish team member roles and responsibilities, and guide in defining structure and communication expectations for efficient work. The Senior Project Manager manages the team in planning, execution, and financial performance of projects, using business practices aligned with our values: people, safety, integrity, innovation, and excellence. Scope

Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). Complexity

Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of a situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including current business trends. Follows processes and policies in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems. Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities. Discretion

Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization. Interaction

Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers; often leads cooperative efforts among project team members. Supervision

Manages the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. In some cases this manager may be responsible for a functional area without subordinate employees. Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement strategic planning with 5-10 years of experience in progressive and design-build projects in the respective industries; experience on projects worth $50 million or more. Project Oversight: Manage project progress, team, timelines, and ensure effective performance. Knowledge and experience in systems design, construction, commissioning, testing, and integration. Discuss systems scope from conceptual design to completion. Manage stakeholder expectations and project deliverables at a big-picture level. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, cost control, and forecasting. Track costs to deliver projects within budget. Coordinate with estimating and budgeting processes, third-party budget reviews, and subcontractors. Ensure QA/QC and safety plans are integrated, and manage testing plans and results. Communication and Decision-Making: Ensure safety plans are followed daily and communicate with team to manage staffing, progress reports, and risk mitigation. Prepare and distribute project updates to the executive team; ensure kickoff alignment and contract obligations are understood by the team. Strategic Direction: Deliver projects on time with high standards; handle complex judgments and ensure alignment with organizational goals. About You

Thorough knowledge of estimating, project cost accounting, scheduling, procurement, productivity tracking and reporting for profitable electrical construction projects. Experience with union workforces. Demonstrated safe, reliable, and integrity-driven work habits, including working in unsupervised field settings and remote offices when appropriate. Strong management and leadership skills with a track record of developing employees and driving positive outcomes. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project; Accubid Classic experience preferred. Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred. Licensure/Certifications: RCDD certification a plus. Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; at least five (5) years of Project Manager level experience in electrical construction or related activities in a leadership role and managing projects. 2 years of managing professional staff. Driving Record: Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Note:
