Overview
Director - Corporate Mortgage Finance PM role at Huntington National Bank. This position is responsible for underwriting CMF Lending facilities, assisting with legal documentation reviews, and monitoring client performance to ensure compliance with the Policies and Procedures of Huntington’s Corporate Mortgage Finance Group (CMFG). This role reports to the Portfolio Management Team Leader. Responsibilities
Portfolio Management: Structure, underwrite, and close complex direct lend bilateral and/or syndicated asset-backed credit facilities, including mortgage warehouse lines, mortgage servicing assets, and other mortgage-related asset-backed and SPE collateralized credit facilities. Ensure relationships and transactions in the assigned portfolio align with the Bank's risk profile and credit policies. Spread financials, prepare accurate risk ratings, credit request memorandums, and recommendations in compliance with CMFG and bank requirements (new credit requests, modification requests, annual reviews, renewals, portfolio reviews, and criticized asset reviews). Monitor the performance of assigned CMF Facilities to assess ongoing creditworthiness and identify opportunities or challenges. Conduct analysis including stress testing, forecasting, concentration analysis, and macroeconomic evaluations. Present at portfolio reviews and respond to senior management inquiries as needed. Provide immediate communication of suspected credit problems or deterioration within the portfolio. Maintain acceptable credit quality for the assigned portfolio in line with Bank and CMFG policies, procedures, and guidelines as evidenced by loan reviews and audits. Provide leadership and guidance to team members to increase understanding and capability. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and problem solving. Prepare and present portfolio reports highlighting performance, financial metrics, and policy compliance; provide ad hoc reporting as needed. Develop an understanding of industry markets and trends to support risk management efforts. Manage special projects, including drafting procedures and policies. Utilize Bank reporting, record-keeping, and underwriting systems/tools to maintain accurate portfolio-level detail. Effectively manage multiple priorities. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years’ portfolio management experience 3 or more years’ experience with GAAP principles applied to mortgage banking entities 3 or more years’ experience preparing cash flow analysis and stress testing under varied scenarios Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Preferred Experience
Portfolio management experience ideally within the mortgage finance industry or other specialty finance areas with commitments sizes > $100MM 5-10 years of relevant commercial credit experience, preferably within corporate mortgage finance or other specialty finance; strong communication and collaboration skills and excellent organizational skills Experience with legal structures, credit analysis and cash flow assessments, documentation and surveillance standards for facility types offered by the group Formal credit training and/or experience Bachelor's degree; master’s degree in a related field preferred Exempt Status

Compensation Range: $102,000.00 - $208,000.00 USD Annual Salary. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and performance. Eligible for incentive compensation.
