A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney specializing in Catastrophic Litigation to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals. Duties
Conduct file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action. Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs. Meet an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours. Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions. Draft and respond to discovery requests. Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses. Prepare for and attend trials. Travel as required. Requirements
6+ years of experience in General Liability with a focus on Catastrophic/High Stakes Litigation. Proficiency in handling civil cases from inception to resolution. Experience in taking and defending depositions, including 30(b)(6) and expert witnesses. Skilled in drafting and arguing substantive motions, attending hearings, and trials. Participation in negotiations and mediations. J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school. Admitted to practice in the state of GA; additional state admissions are a plus. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong research abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to self-manage and work effectively in a team environment. Prompt response to email and phone inquiries. Excellent client interaction skills and telephone manner. Education
J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school. Certifications
Admitted to practice in the state of GA. Skills
