Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate attorney with a minimum of 4 years plaintiff’s personal injury experience to join our growing firm. Our practice handles both pre-suit and in-suit personal injury cases and is committed to protecting people’s rights against corporations and insurance companies that prey on the vulnerability of the public. Case Management: Handle a caseload of personal injury matters (both pre-suit and in-suit) from start to finish. Client Communication: Conduct client interviews, maintain regular communication, and provide updates on case progress. Gather detailed information on injuries and losses, address client questions, and offer guidance on legal options. Investigation: Investigate motor vehicle accident and premises liability cases by issuing preservation letters, submitting FOIA requests, ordering and reviewing accident and police reports, securing surveillance footage, performing site inspections, gathering witness statements, and working with experts to assess liability and damages. Legal Research & Writing: Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, demand letters, settlement documents, and other legal documents. Discovery & Depositions: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission. Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions. Conduct and defend depositions. Court Appearances: Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and, occasionally, trials. Negotiation & Settlement: Negotiate settlements and medical liens. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure excellent service and results for clients. Qualifications

4 or more years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury law Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues, clients, opposing counsel, and the Court Excellent legal writing skills Curiosity and ability to both receive and provide constructive feedback Strong attention to detail Honesty/self-awareness of the candidate’s own limitations and shortcomings with a simultaneous drive to learn, grow, and ultimately overcome them Licensed to practice in Illinois Benefits

Anticipated salary range between $125,000 to $170,000, based on candidate qualifications and prior experience. Resume Cover Letter Two References Two Writing Samples of which you had primary responsibility with respect to style and content – as opposed to samples that were heavily edited by professors, judges, or other lawyers.
