Senior RTL/Chip Design Engineer – Architect the Future of AI Hardware Are you ready to push the boundaries of chip design at the cutting edge of semiconductors and artificial intelligence? This role gives you the chance to architect, design, and validate advanced systems that power the next generation of machine learning. You’ll be hands-on with SystemVerilog, Python, and innovative AI-driven design methodologies, all while working alongside some of the brightest engineers and researchers in the industry. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of hardware and AI engineers to define system specifications and deliver breakthrough solutions Architect and implement novel chip design methodologies leveraging Agentic AI and machine learning techniques Develop, test, and validate high-performance RTL designs that integrate seamlessly into next-gen semiconductor systems Contribute to the full chip development flow, from architecture to validation and beyond Drive innovation in design processes, toolchains, and automation for accelerated product development What we’re looking for
10–15 years of experience in RTL design and semiconductor systems Expert-level proficiency in
SystemVerilog
and strong fluency in
Python Solid understanding of chip flow, including RTL, validation, synthesis, and physical design Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, research-driven startup environment Exposure to machine learning or deep learning, whether through coursework, projects, or professional experience U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa Preferred extras that make you stand out
Hands-on with FPGA development (Vivado, Vitis, Quartus, ACE) Familiarity with protocols such as
SPI, I2C, AXI, Ethernet, PCIe, DDR5 Contributions to open-source tools and ecosystems (Verilator, CocoTB, Yosys, etc.) Personal projects or research showcasing innovation and continuous learning What’s in it for you
