This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, manages 3-5 direct reports, and is based at the headquarters in Atlanta, GA (on-site 4 days a week). How You’ll Make An Impact This leadership role is responsible for the strategy and execution of a broad array of marketing initiatives focused on acquiring and keeping customers. You will develop innovative, data-driven growth marketing strategies and programs that support key business objectives, drive brand engagement, and enhance retail sales response.

Responsibilities

Media (30%): Lead strategy and execution to drive traffic, sales, and engagement focusing on paid media and paid social for the brands; develop strategic, integrated marketing plans that align with goals (customer acquisition, eCommerce, and store traffic); lead inter-agency planning to create effective 360 campaigns; oversee total enterprise media investment with Finance and Marketing Analytics to meet forecasts and objectives.

Personalization (30%): Develop and lead the enterprise personalization strategy across channels; define a full personalization vision and technical solution with diverse stakeholders; leverage personalization data to build triggers, audiences, and customer journeys to drive revenue, retention, and acquisition; integrate personalization across email, web, app, store, and media; partner with external vendors for CDP and personalization engine implementations and integrations.

Email and SMS Marketing (20%): Develop strategic, integrated marketing plans to increase awareness, customer acquisition, and online traffic; lead the email marketing program and team with strategic input into calendar, templates, targeting, deployment, optimization, and analytics; oversee email programs for all brands to support online and retail sales in a fast-paced environment.

Loyalty, App & Credit Card Marketing (20%): Drive store and site traffic and improve retention and lifetime value through loyalty strategies; develop and execute private label credit card marketing plans; evaluate loyalty opportunities for ROI; drive innovation in loyalty offerings; lead cross-functional efforts to integrate credit card initiatives into all marketing programs; advance the app as a hub for customers with personalized experiences.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in innovative, fast-paced marketing organizations (retail preferred).

Advanced understanding of media, personalization, consumer segmentation, acquisition cost, and lifetime value.

Ability to translate retail metrics into P&L impact and ensure programs drive profitable sales and growth.

Strong communication, organizational, analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills; decisive and proactive.

Proven track record in creating retail marketing plans that increase foot traffic, engagement, and revenue.

Ability to apply shopper insights with creative and strategic partners and adapt best practices for the business.

High drive and ability to manage the marketing calendar in a retail environment.

Ability to influence and build partnerships; remove barriers to achieve goals.

Comfort moving between strategic planning and day-to-day execution.

Financial understanding of marketing ROI and business impact.

Strong people leadership and commitment to developing others.

Undergraduate degree required.
