As a key member of our team, you will take charge of credit origination and portfolio management for non-investment grade and leveraged companies. Your responsibilities will include structuring new lending activities, evaluating credit requests, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. To excel in this role, you will develop an in-depth understanding of the business, financial, competitive, and industry risks associated with our client portfolio. Collaborating with various product teams, you will work to meet client needs while mentoring and developing junior talent. Qualifications for this position include: a BA/BS degree, with at least 5 years of commercial or investment banking experience focused on credit, structuring, and marketing. A strong grasp of financial products, corporate finance, financial modeling, and market dynamics, along with advanced knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles is essential. You should also have experience with credit agreement documentation and derivative products. Preferred candidates will possess an MBA, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and show the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders. This role will require you to perform due diligence, negotiate with clients, and efficiently manage multiple tasks under pressure.
