Lewis-Clark State College invites applications for the position of Enrollment Specialist located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Salary based on experience and qualifications: $49,754
Degree Requirement:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Required Qualifications:
Excellent presentation, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to organize resources, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to travel several weeks per year, both in-state and out-of-state (evening and weekend work is required).
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM) database.
Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Responsibilities:
Must be willing to work remotely from North Idaho (Coeur d'Alene area)
Travel to high schools, community colleges, career fairs, college fairs, and other venues to promote and represent the college to prospective students and parents
Maintain communication and relationships with high school counselors, community college advisors, career center advisors, and other referral agents
Provide general advice and guidance on matters related to financial aid, scholarships, fee payment, and other college services/programs to prospective students, parents, and special groups for pre-enrollment advising
Develop and implement recruitment initiatives focusing on transfer student and adult learner populations
Coordinate information sessions/workshops in recruiting areas
Design and implement specialized programs in collaboration with North Idaho College and Community Colleges of Spokane
Serve as initial advisor for Southern Idaho Student Advising and Registration (STAR) sessions
Assist with Recruiting Task Force (RTF) activities through NIHE (North Idaho Higher Education)
Assist in the development of on-campus programs for prospective students
Assist in the development of campus publications, computer-based marketing pieces, and other promotional materials
Participate in the college's New Student Orientation program
Evening/weekend work is required
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
Perform other duties as assigned
Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support the recruitment and retention of students.
