About the Role

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee both residential and commercial reconstruction projects following fire, water, mold, or storm damage. This is not new construction – each project comes with its own unique challenges. You will be responsible for delivering jobs on time, on budget, and at the highest level of quality while coordinating with property owners, insurance carriers, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle for multiple reconstruction jobs, from work authorization through final walkthrough.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, trades, vendors, and in-house craftsmen.
  • Review scopes, estimates, and Xactimate line items to ensure accuracy and profitability.
  • Maintain jobsite documentation, safety compliance, and permitting/inspections.
  • Communicate proactively with property owners, insurance representatives, and property managers.
  • Resolve scope changes, negotiate supplements/change orders, and maintain margin control.
  • Support branch leadership with project forecasting, reporting, and process adherence.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving repeat and referral business.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years project management experience in construction or restoration; reconstruction experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage 10–30 projects concurrently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a multi-project, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Xactimate or similar construction software.
  • Knowledge of building codes, permitting, inspections, and subcontractor management.
  • Experience working with insurance carriers, TPAs, and adjusters.
  • Contractor’s License, IICRC certifications, OSHA 10/30, Mold/EPA certifications strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
