We are looking for IT Contract specialist for our direct client.

Location - Rochester Hills, MI

Duration - 4 months contract.

Pay Rate - $25/hour on W2

RESPONISIBILITES:

  • Supports the contract development and maintenance process and ensures consistent management of all IT contracts.
  • Monitors and tracks upcoming contractual actions and deadlines.
  • Supports the analysis and development of strategies for IT contract negotiations.
  • Collaborates closely with various departments and IT leaders in the contract development process.
  • Supports the development of standards for IT contracts, Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements, and general language and provisions specific to information technology products and services.
  • Ensures accuracy and appropriateness of IT contract text and attachments.
  • Maintains deadlines on deliverables and communicates on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal stakeholders on IT contractual issues.
  • Provides monthly and annual IT contractual activity report and other metrics reports to IT Contracts Manager and other IT Leadership as requested.
  • Provides advice and interpretation of IT contract requirements, obligations and risk exposure to IT leaders.
  • Applies creativity and sound business reasoning to align IT contract terms to IT and business needs.
  • Reviews, analyzes and negotiates IT contracts to ensure compliance with applicable corporate policies and project requirements.
  • Negotiates directly with suppliers throughout the preparation, evaluation and execution of IT contracts, often as the primary organization IT contact.
  • Participates in audits of IT contracts.
  • Works with Legal counsel to determine the most appropriate contract types to reduce company exposure to risk.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvement methods related to IT contracting.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with peers, stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
