Development Project Executive Location:
Hybrid Based in Doral & Fort Myers, FL Company Type:

West Coast Florida Expansion Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic
Development Project Executive
to spearhead the growth of our development and construction operations in the
Fort Myers and broader West Coast Florida region , while remaining engaged with our corporate base in
Doral . This is a hybrid role requiring hands-on execution and high-level strategic oversight across
real estate development, entitlements, design coordination, preconstruction, and construction management . As a
builder-developer , our team is not afraid to get into the nitty-gritty. We seek a leader who can
roll up their sleeves, drive results, and still delegate effectively someone who brings both vision and execution. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Development & Expansion Identify, evaluate, and pursue development opportunities across Floridas Gulf Coast.
Support site acquisition strategy and market feasibility analyses.
Drive entitlements, zoning, permitting, and municipal negotiations in alignment with company growth goals.
Predevelopment & Design Coordination Lead and collaborate with architects, consultants, and in-house teams during all phases of design.
Guide early-stage value engineering, schedule mapping, and constructability assessments.
Ensure all design deliverables align with budget, schedule, regulatory requirements, and project vision.
Preconstruction Management Partner with internal estimating and project management teams to develop detailed budgets, timelines, and logistics plans.
Own the project roadmap from concept to mobilization, including cost risk management, buyout strategy, and schedule alignment.
Leverage Procore and other tools to maintain early project accuracy.
Construction Oversight Interface directly with internal and external construction teams during build-out phases to ensure schedule, cost, and quality control.
Perform site walks and resolve real-time field issues as needed.
Serve as executive liaison to contractors, subs, consultants, and stakeholders.
Financial & Contractual Leadership Lead feasibility and pro forma modeling during pre-acquisition and predevelopment.
Monitor and manage project budgets, draw schedules, and change order reviews.
Collaborate on procurement strategy and consultant/contractor agreement negotiation.
Leadership & Internal Collaboration Act as a bridge between Development, Preconstruction, and Construction divisions.
Work cross-functionally with senior leadership, estimating, and field operations teams.
Mentor junior team members while leading by example with direct project involvement.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Real Estate Development, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
710+ years of full-cycle development and construction project leadership, ideally with
builder-developer experience .
Proven ability to manage both strategic oversight and direct execution in development/construction phases.
Experience on multifamily, mixed-use, or commercial projects, preferably from ground-up through delivery.
Proficiency with
Procore ,
Bluebeam ,
Excel , and familiarity with financial modeling software (e.g., Argus or similar).
Deep understanding of
Florida building codes , permitting processes, and coastal development challenges.
Ability to travel regularly between
Doral HQ and Fort Myers job sites/partners .
