Kelly Professional & Industrial is seeking a Production / Machine Operator to work at a cutting-edge production facility in Wyandotte, MI. Pay rate: $19 / hr for day shift $20 / hr for night shift. Hours: Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM with rotating days. Sunday Day Shift - 8 hours 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM with rotating days. What's a typical day as a Production / Machine Operator? You'll be: assist with all areas in the production facility, hands-on manufacturing: operate equipment, assemble products, interface with machines - CNC and Injection molding machines, safely shut down, start up, and maintain de-flashing units, use equipment such as carts, electric pallet jacks, pneumatic tools, bin lifters, air wands, brooms, Scan Guns, perform regular safety checks and participate actively in the safety program, read and follow standard operating procedures and safety instructions, transfer and stage materials for the warehouse, complete changeover operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity, train other personnel within the department as needed, interact frequently with internal customers, enter data into electronic databases, troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities, exhibit adaptability in changing work priorities, be a reliable team player with accountability and ownership competencies, demonstrate effective judgment and ability to ask for help when needed.
