Inventory Supervisor

The Inventory Supervisor will oversee inventory, shipping, and receiving operations, undertaking the reconfiguration of inventory processes and warehouse layout to maximize efficiency. This role ensures accuracy of inventory, both raw materials and finished goods, within the ERP system, manages customer-owned finished goods inventory, provides inventory reports, and conducts physical inventories of customer-owned parts. Responsibilities: Oversee inventory, shipping, and receiving operations. Reconfigure inventory processes and warehouse layout to maximize efficiency. Ensure accuracy of inventory in the ERP system. Manage customer-owned finished goods inventory and provide inventory reports. Conduct physical inventories of customer-owned parts. Pick and prepare customer-owned parts for shipment, including handling customer documentation. Set up bins for raw materials, finished goods, and customer-owned inventory locations in ERP. Kit inventory for production. Move inventory between bin locations while maintaining FIFO traceability. Analyze inventory for obsolescence and recommend disposal of obsolete inventory. Count and restock parts from kits returned from production, determining if returned parts should be restocked or disposed. Maintain ABC codes in ERP. Record scrap and inventory adjustment transactions into ERP. Conduct regular inventory cycle counts, research discrepancies, identify and implement corrective actions, and publish reports. Essential Skills: 3-5 years inventory experience within a manufacturing plant using an ERP system. Problem-solving skills. Self-starting attitude. Supervisory skills in warehouse management, inventory control, shipping, and receiving. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with warehouse distribution and production. Proficiency in inventory management systems and inventory control systems. Work Environment: The position is onsite, Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. The work environment involves managing a warehouse department that requires organizational improvements and process revamps. Employees will work in a manufacturing plant setting with a focus on enhancing business operations under new leadership. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, Oregon. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
