The Specialist leads the execution of the integrated marketing and fundraising strategy for Latino Network. This individual is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all marketing and related communications pertaining to the Development Departments annual general operating revenue goal. The individuals role is to ensure that marketing of the current programs of Latino Network is continuous and effective to encourage gifts from individual donors, foundation partners and business supporters. The individual plans and implements tasks related to marketing and fundraising efforts including promotion of our events and fundraising campaigns through media relations, social media management, and online newsletters. The Fundraising and Marketing Specialists role is to increase community engagement through effective storytelling while supporting the annual donor retention goals set out by the Development Department. PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and managing of all fundraising related communications through various channels including but not limited to media relations, social media platforms, and enewsletters to promote our programs and to support our annual fundraising plan. Responsible for the marketing and communications of our annual fundraising events, including our Noche Bella Gala and our Action Fund Reception, by creating save the date and invitation materials, social media promotions, and enewsletters updates and post-event appreciation messaging. Responsible for updating promotional donor-related materials annually. Responsible for the marketing of annual priority fundraising initiatives including our Adelante Juntos, year-end and annual fund campaigns. Responsible for ensuring that donor resources pages on organizational website are updated and user friendly. Use Google Analytics to ensure growth. Responsible for seeking out appropriate outreach opportunities to participate in. Work with Communications team to create and distribute the annual report, appeal letters & other related efforts to raise funds and increase awareness of our work. Responsible for prompt, active communications with our stakeholders, our community nonprofit partners, Workplace Giving Campaign partners, board members, and the public. Work with Communications team to increase followers of social media and visitors to our website. Oversee the creation fundraising/marketing email messages via EveryAction. Collaborate with Program, Communications, and Development teams to streamline data workflows. Evaluate and implement integrations with other tools/platforms (e.g., email, event platforms, peer-to-peer fundraising tools). REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES 1-2 years experience managing a donor database or CRM, preferably EveryAction. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in data querying, segmentation, and reporting. Ability to train and support team members with varying levels of tech proficiency. Commitment to the mission and values of Latino Network. Experience in a nonprofit development or operations role, especially organizations with both 501c3 and 501c4 affiliations. Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising practices, donor stewardship, and grants management. Working knowledge of data privacy and security best practices. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently while meeting key organizational deadlines. Performance-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic, high accountability, and commitment to achieving goals. Ability to be flexible and adaptive to successfully achieve the functions of the position as described in the job responsibilities. Ability to conceptualize, collaborate, plan, and manage projects and multiple initiatives simultaneously. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Evening and weekend availability may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
