Chief Executive Officer Postion Overview We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to serve as Vice President of Power Construction. This executive role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale power generation projects, with a focus on thermal and conventional power facilities (natural gas, coal, oil, and related infrastructure). The VP will lead cross-functional teams, manage strategic partnerships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and implement the overall strategy for conventional power construction projects. Drive organizational growth by identifying new opportunities and developing client relationships. Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term business planning and investment decisions. Project Oversight Lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover. Ensure adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, quality benchmarks, and environmental regulations. Establish project governance structures and performance monitoring systems. Team Management Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing construction management team. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Align workforce planning with project pipeline and organizational growth needs. Financial Management Develop and oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial controls. Ensure cost efficiency, value engineering, and strong return on investment. Negotiate contracts with contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the executive point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders. Representing the company at industry conferences and forums. Manage relationships with engineering firms, EPC contractors, and equipment suppliers. Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Masters degree or MBA preferred. 15+ years of progressive experience in power generation or heavy industrial construction, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record delivering large-scale thermal/conventional power projects. Deep knowledge of EPC contracts, construction methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental compliance. Strong financial acumen and contract negotiation skills. Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Competency Strategic Vision: Ability to align construction execution with broader business goals. Operational Excellence: Skilled at driving efficiency, safety, and quality across complex projects.
