This role involves managing and enhancing our Wix-based web presence to effectively communicate our vision, mission, and the impact of our work. The ideal candidate is proficient in web design and development, with specific experience in Wix, GiveLively, GiveButter, Salesforce, and Formstack. Volunteer Wix Developer Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain our website and web applications using Wix, ensuring they reflect our brand and mission. Proficient in creating responsive web designs that ensure an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices (from desktop monitors to mobile phones), featuring easy navigation and reading with minimal resizing, panning, and scrolling. Integrate and manage fundraising and CRM tools such as GiveLively, GiveButter, and Salesforce to enhance our donor experience and engagement. Use Formstack to create and manage efficient online forms for donations, volunteer sign-ups, and event registrations. Collaborate with our marketing and design teams to create compelling, user-friendly web content. Implement SEO best practices, monitor website traffic, and analyze performance metrics to increase visibility and engagement. Provide technical support and guidance on web content management to staff. Ensure website security and compliance with web standards and best practices. Volunteer Wix Developer Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in Wix website development and administration. Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in web design, particularly with Wix, and experience integrating tools such as GiveLively, GiveButter, Salesforce, and Formstack. Familiar with Editor X, an advanced web creation platform from Wix, offering deep design capabilities, flexible grids, and full breakpoint control for crafting responsive and visually stunning websites tailored to all devices. Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and web optimization practices. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for the mission of Believe in Me. Preferred Experience Experience with nonprofit organizations and understanding of their unique needs and challenges. Familiarity with graphic design tools and principles to create visually appealing web interfaces.
