Assistant Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, particularly within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations, particularly OSHPD standards.
- Assist in managing project risks and resolving issues as they arise.
- Support communication between all stakeholders, including project team members and external partners.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
- Knowledge of OSHPD regulations and healthcare construction is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
