Overview

Carvana is seeking Customer Advocates with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to join the Vehicle Delivery Driver team. Carvana is the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. Our Customer Advocates help deliver happiness to customers and reintroduce happiness into the car-buying process. This role involves delivering vehicles and representing our brand in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (a commercial license is not required; comprehensive training is provided).
  • Frequently load/unload vehicles onto the hauler and inspect the car-hauler to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive.
  • Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system.
  • Drive safely and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy.
  • Obtain or be able to obtain a Notary in your local jurisdiction within the first 90 days of employment (Carvana-sponsored process); review your state's notary requirements as needed.
  • Meet state-specific requirements related to DMV/title and registration systems.
  • Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri employees must obtain a Chauffeur's license or other state specialty license within the first two weeks of employment (sponsored by Carvana).

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of customer-facing experience; enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated team player.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including loading/unloading and detailing vehicles, in indoor and outdoor conditions with exposure to weather.
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods (8+ hours); read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Physical requirements: reach, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity for driving; reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base compensation of $17/hour; potential to increase by $0.50 every 3 months based on performance.
