The Sicilian Butcher is a chef-driven, modern-casual Italian restaurant created by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore and the team behind Tomaso's, Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, and The Sicilian Baker. Known for scratch-made pastas, craft meatballs, house-baked pastries, and authentic Italian hospitality, our Chandler location is a neighborhood favorite in the Phoenix valley. We're looking for a passionate and energetic Barista/Bakery Counter Staff member to join our team.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous restaurant, barista, or beverage experience preferred
- Current food handler's card or ability to obtain one
- Positive, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Passion for providing excellent guest service
- Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure every guest leaves satisfied
As a Barista/Bakery Counter Staff member at The Sicilian Butcher, you'll bring warmth and energy to our bakery counter while preparing delicious coffee beverages and showcasing our house-baked goods. You'll play a key role in delivering elevated hospitality in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Greet customers, answer questions, and make menu recommendations
- Take and prepare orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Craft espresso, coffee, and specialty beverages following Sicilian Butcher recipes
- Serve bakery and beverage items with exceptional presentation
- Monitor and maintain inventory and display of baked goods
- Keep workstations, brewing equipment, and the bakery counter clean and organized
- Follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines
- Support other team members as needed
