Schedule
- Monday:8:30 AM 5:30 PM
- Tuesday:10:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Thursday:8:30 AM 5:30 PM
- Friday:7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with all procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Perform patient oral evaluations, take, develop, and mount high-quality X-rays.
- Complete laboratory duties, including provisionals and case management.
- Review patient charts and log appropriate data during exams and treatments.
- Follow OSHA and practice safety protocols.
- Educate patients on procedures, products, and services; address questions and concerns.
- Verify patient health histories, medications, and ensure documentation is accurate.
- Prepare and clean operatories per office procedures and sterilize equipment per OSHA guidelines.
- Assist in scheduling follow-ups and manage lab cases efficiently.
- Support front office tasks when needed to maintain smooth office operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred.
- EFDA credential preferred but not required.
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
Additional Requirements
- CPR certification and any relevant dental assisting certifications are advantageous.
