Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Senior Firmware Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and optimization of firmware for scientific instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded systems and a strong background in measurement technologies, contributing to innovative solutions in our product line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain firmware for scientific instrumentation using Embedded C.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements and specifications.
  • Perform testing and validation of firmware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug firmware issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on firmware development best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in firmware development, particularly with Embedded C.
  • 5+yrs development of measurement or scientific instrumentation.
  • 3+yrs experience leading people.
  • Experience with debugging tools and embedded systems programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
