Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Senior Firmware Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and optimization of firmware for scientific instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded systems and a strong background in measurement technologies, contributing to innovative solutions in our product line.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for scientific instrumentation using Embedded C.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements and specifications.
- Perform testing and validation of firmware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug firmware issues in a timely manner.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on firmware development best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in firmware development, particularly with Embedded C.
- 5+yrs development of measurement or scientific instrumentation.
- 3+yrs experience leading people.
- Experience with debugging tools and embedded systems programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
